Tickets System

A solution for booking tickets and managing events in venues with marked seats, venues with unmarked seats and venues with a flexible seating/standing capacity.

Features

  • Web-based system,  transparently integrated in a website
  • Both residents (system users) and visitors can book seats
  • Use a MySQL database to quickly access, import, export, and easily manage data.
  • Add customized components for booking, if necessary
  • Work with or without a credit card clearing system.

Book Tickets

  • Information on active events is displayed for all site visitors. Information includes event type, event name, date, hour, and number of available tickets.
  • User clicks "details", and views more information about the event that was added to the system by the administrator.
  • User clicks "book tickets" and redirects to a booking page, where user can book tickets for the event.
  • If the event includes a seating chart, the user marks the required seats. In venues with unmarked seats, the user specifies the number of tickets required.
  • User can view order details before final booking, and make the order. After an order is made, user can print an order confirmation.
  • If system includes a credit card clearing system, user must provide credit card information in a secured form.

Manage Venues

Manage two types of venues with the tickets tool:

  • Venues with market seats and a seating charts
  • Venues with a limited number of seats, and no seating chart

System administrators can add, delete and change name, location, phone number, fax number, contact person, email, maximum seats, active/inactive status, seating chart/no seating chart.

If location has a seating chart, use the system's seating chart generator to create an unlimited number of graphic seating charts.  Charts include zones, rows, seats, stage location, no-access areas, etc.

Manage Events

Add, edit and delete events. An event form includes:

  • Name of event
  • Location/venue, date, hour, box office opening hours
  • Ticket price, price for non-user resident, maximum tickets per user
  • Online sale opening and closing times.
  • Status: on-schedule, cancelled, free of charge, postponed, ended
  • Type of event: dance, concert, theatre, film, choir, lecture, other.
  • Event theatre/sponsor, author, director, actors, description, reviews, links.

Manage Residents

Manage residents. Add and delete. Import lists from Excel.

Reports

  • View and print seating chart status for the applicable venues.
  • View number of tickets sold, and remainder of available tickets for an event.
  • Create billing report for each organization by resident, according to system data.

Print Tickets

  • Print tickets for ticket buyers, and control printed tickets.
  • Design your own tickets and customize printing to ticket cards.

Pay for Tickets with a Credit Card (optional)

The ticket system can be connected to a credit card payment and clearing system. This is processed in two stages:

A secure form encrypts credit card information.

A clearing system checks the card, bills it, and confirms the transaction.

If a payment option is included in the tickets system, residents can buy tickets with their personal credit cards.
